The Negative Effect of Playing Billiard

Some people have so many actifities that make them stressful. They solve it by doing their hobbies. Playing billiard is one of many hobbies in this world. Billiard is a sport  that uses small ball, stick and table. Many people want to be a professional player but billiard has bad image for the public and also billiard has negative effect. Billiard has three negative effect: Make our body unhealthy, identical with night life, and spend much money.

Playing billiard sometimes change from the healthy sport to be unhealthy sport because the environment is bad. The cigarette smoke makes  people who are  not smoking to be pasive smokers. This is really bad for our body. Not only to be pasive smokers but also want to be smokers. The condition of the place will damage our eyes because there are not enought light to help us to have good view. One table of billiard has only three small lights to lighten the table. Only the table, cashier and also the bar that has lights. That is why we can not see clearly at that place. The billiard place is also very cold because of the air conditioner. Sometimes if your body can not adjust to it you will get sick immediately. Althought, we are already wearing jacket or warmsuit, it can not keep our body warm.

            Playing billiard also identical with night life. For example, on the billiard place they sell alcohol to the guest (start from senior high school student), and the guest can drink it on location, it make the people have bad habbit to drink alcohol. Althought, the billiard place does not sell it to the student but they sell it to the people that does not wear student uniform. On the other hand if the students do not wear their uniform they can buy alcohol and drink it. Not only sell the alcohol but also they do gambling in the billiard place. Most of the gamblers are students, they do gambling to have extra money and some of the gambler do it just to practice their skill and to improve their game to be an extraordinary game and sometimes they do it just for fun. Every waitress in billiard place wear sexy uniform, it means most of the waitress are girls. It gives bad image to the public. It makes many players do not spend their time for playing billiard but also to see or meet the waitress. Sometimes we think that the waitress looks like a naughty girl. The waitress also can accompany the guest to play billiard and to drink. So, we can see the realty that waitress on the billiard has bad image and also gives bad influence to the people.

            Playing billiard need extra money to rent the table at the billiard place. At a popular billiard place it is very expensive to rent a table because the fasilities at the place is very good, for example the condition of the equipment like stick is in good condition and has good qualities also the table has good condition and good qualities. But on an ordinary place with cheap price to rent the table we  have to be satisfied with the condition and qualities the equipment of the place. To play at the good place we have to pay fivety thousand rupiah up to sixty thousand rupiah per hour and at the ordinary place we have to pay fiveteen thousand rupiah up to thirty thousand rupiah per hour. So, there is different price between the ordinary place and the extraordinary place.  The professional players want to own privat equipment for themselves. For example, the equipment like stick is the most important things that player needs. Many players want to own billiard table to practice their skill at home. Not just the ordinary stick and billiard’s table that is needed but the equipment that have good quality is needed to make a good game and to help to get a good skill. The equipment is soo expensive. When you are playing not only the equipment and the table to rent but also to buy food and drink that is very expensive at place. It makes the guests have to pay more if they want to have drink and some food and everythink at the billiard place is very expensive. Some guest do not order anything to save their money but the waitress always asks the guest to order food and drink.

            So, there are three negative effects of playing billiard: playing billiard makes our body unhealthy, identical with night life, and spend much money. It is better we do not influenced by the negative effects, and just make the billiard as a hobby.
